conversion bug from WMA to MP3
I want to convert my music collection that is mostly in WMA format to MP3 format in order to save space, but the software refuses to convert direct from the MP3 player and also refuses to convert the tracks (in WMA format). When I select "destination format" as MP3, the program says "Failed. Format conversion is not supported."
What should I do? can anyone provide me necessary solutions...
Re: conversion bug from WMA to MP3
If conversion from ASF, WMV or other Windows Media file formats experiences unexpectedly or produces incomplete errors or out of sync results, the source file may have a damaged index or perhaps you don't have the codec( encoder/decoder ) that was used to create your source movie.
If the index is at fault you can re-index the source file with Microsoft's Windows Media tools. To index a WMV file use the Windows Media File Editor.
From the main File menu select Save and Index.
