Dvd creation software

Hi all,
I am in search of a free software to create a DVD video containing a menu and where I could put all my video editing. I already tried that of vista but I find it terrible. If you could find me a free I'm interested. Thank you in advance

You can buy hardware that'll convert video to DVD. ADS Technologies (http://www.adstech.com/) have quite a range of relatively cheap external USB devices. Quite fancy something like this myself actually.

if u have enough money to spend (and i mean A LOT of money) and the discipline to learn how to use it, u can get Sonic Scenarist, which is definitely the most capable of all the authoring programs.
