Clock Tower can be considered one of the pioneers of survival horror games. It was also one of the first to incorporate multiple endings. It contains more endings than most modern day games.

I have all kinds of warm, fuzzy feelings for Silent Hill. The radiator in the bedroom of my girlfriend at the time made a noise in the middle of the night like the broken radio. Nothing like waking up in pitch darkness to the sound.

My favorite horror game would have to be The Suffering on hard at midnight-3:00 when alone
