PC hangs on startup

Hello

Please help

When I turn on my PC, it starts but gets stuck on top of Windows Xp

I've done a chkdsk but once I restart and it still hangs

I unplugged all my devices

Hello did you tried to boot into Safe Mode? (tap f8 while booting)
if it happens to start in Safe Mode will see your device manager to see if you did not point dexclamation or yellow question mark on a peripheral

Run "msconfig" from the run command on the start menu. Have a look at the startup tab for any items that are ticked and post them here, as it sounds as if one of the processes is causing problems.

Problem: I had my visa machine hanging up on startup.

Test: 1 I did the chdsk failed
2 I tried to boot into safe mode, that failed.
3 Last know good configuration ( that never works)



Solution: I did a vista Repair and Everything was great!

So try that
