Wifi connected but no internet
I have a MSI Notebook under Windows XP Pro (32 bit) with the Intel 4965 AGN WiFi card, I use the XP utility to connect wireless
Here is my problem:
This is about 2 weeks I searched but still can not find my wifi. Previously worked very well but suddenly nothing. It connects very quickly elsewhere and I logged my signal strength with excellent speed (54.0 Mbits/s) but I can not access the internet whatsoever except Ethernet of course. When I repair the connection to erase the DNS cache, I have already tried to re associate my device to my PC, disabled Kaspersky, reinstall my network card, there is nothing. Well, do you have a solution?
Re: Wifi connected but no internet
Several tips to help you to test:
Test the connection from the command line: Start, Run, enter cmd, then ping www.google.com (for example).
Reset the TCP/IP with the appropriate commands:; Enter the following command: netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt then validate; layer TCP/IP is initialized again.
Reset Internet Explorer: tools, internet options, advanced tab, reset IE
Cleaning malware: in safe mode: Scan with Malwarebytes and Hitman Pro 3, Scanner with Antivir (do not forget to uninstall it before you reboot), use HijackThis, use Smitfraudfix; use Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool...
Test with another browser: FIREFOX
Re: Wifi connected but no internet
Okay, here I am. So I have already made the ping, no receipt of package. I use Firefox but I tried with IE.
Re: Wifi connected but no internet
I had the same problem because of a firewall a bit too restrictive
Re: Wifi connected but no internet
Did you manually configured your network? If yes then maybe it is incorrectly setup. Change it to DHCP (or automatic IP configuration) which will automatically assign the appropriate IP address.
