Problem with Monitor Resolution
Hello Friends,
Recently i have installed video drivers on my laptop. After completing the installation process all my icons and fonts have become small. Not only that if i try to open any word document or web pages its fonts seems to be very small in size. I try to to increase my font by going to Control Panel but it doesn't seems to be working for me. I don't know but is the problem related to my monitor screen? Or the problem is something else? Can any one help me out to resolve this issue? Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Re: Problem with Monitor Resolution
You uninstalled your video card driver, if it is missing windows use a generic driver. Re-install the driver. Reinstall the correct drivers for your video card, then reset the resolution to something that suits you.
Re: Problem with Monitor Resolution
It looks like the problem rest on your VID card rather your Monitor, try to update your vedio card driver from its manufacturer site that might solve the problem.
Re: Problem with Monitor Resolution
Try using 16 or 256 colours to see if that works.
Try changing the refresh rate to 'default' or 60Hz.
Re: Problem with Monitor Resolution
To change your monitor’s resolution
1. Right-click the desktop, and then click Properties.
2. In the Display Properties dialog box, click the Settings tab.
3. Drag the Screen resolution slider to the left to decrease the resolution of your monitor, making text and pictures appear larger. Or drag the Screen resolution slider to the right to increase your monitor’s resolution, making text and pictures appear smaller.
4. Click Apply to have the new resolution take effect.
5. If the Monitor Settings dialog box appears, look at your display. If you like the new resolution, click Yes. If you do not like the resolution, click No, and return to step 3 to try a different resolution.
6. Click OK.
Hope so it may help you out to resolve your problem.:thumbup1:
