media sharing does not detect xbox 360
I have Windows XP with Service Pack 2 installed on my computer adn am also using the Windows media player 11 version. I have already connected the xbox 360 to my computer with the help of local area connection and am trying to setup the media sharing. So for that I check the box for Share my Media and then click Ok. But then I noticed that the OK button disables for some few minutes and without even giving me any kind of option to select xbox 360, the OK button enables itself again? I am doing this new for over and over again, but still it is not working. Can anyone please help me out? Thanks

RE: media sharing does not detect xbox 360
First of all you need to connect your console to your home network using a wired or wireless connection. After that follow the below steps:
- In Windows Media Player, right-click Library, and then click Media Sharing.
- Click Share my media, and then OK.
- Windows Media Player will search for devices on your network. Xbox 360 should appear with a green check mark.
- If you want to apply more options, click Settings.
- When you're done, click OK.
