Windows Media Player 11 and Dell Studio 17
I have a Dell Studio 17 Vista Home Premium operating system
Windows Media Player 11 will not download video from the internet. It simply starts and either hangs up about 4 or 5 seconds in, or almost finishes and then stops.
Sometimes when i hit file to download Media player does not start and i have to go to the task manager and close it then try to play again.
ERROR CODE COOD11D4 comes up sometimes
Any help is appreciated as I am about to get out the sledgehammer!!!!!!!!!!

Hello You can Uncheck UPD under Tools > Options> Network, then close WMP then reopen it Other solutions to the problem could be bad proxy settings, firewalls blocking WMP access to the internet and check "Connect to the Internet" under the main options in WMP. hope it will be helpful to you
Re: Windows Media Player 11 and Dell Studio 17
I was also having the same problem. After surfing the net for days I finally found the solution to my problem - it was solved as follows:
Uncheck UPD under Tools > Options> Network, then close WMP then reopen it Other solutions to the problem could be bad proxy settings, firewalls blocking WMP access to the internet and check "Connect to the Internet" under the main options in WMP. The first solution mentioned above solved my problem and I still feel the joy from that first moment it actually worked!
