Unable to install my network card
I recently had a few small worries of viruses and all that goes with it. I tried use of different anti-virus, anti-spyware and malware to be able to delete infected files, etc.
But suddenly one thing: my network card which is no longer functional; with the pretty little yellow cross in front of equipment. Logically I searched the net to find the latest drivers, but nothing happens.
My machine is a Dell Inspiron 1000 laptop, with a network card "Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller" (for the record, when I try to install the driver of this same map provided by the Dell Support site, I only propose to remove this driver and not to modify, repair, or simply to install)
Re: Unable to install my network card
- Select to delete it because it is probably still present in one form or another, otherwise it will propose to install.
- Do a cleaning with ccleaner and jv16
- Uninstall your network card via Device Manager (right click on the hardware and uninstall)
- Reinstall the dell driver
Re: Unable to install my network card
After performing the various operations that you called me, nothing happens, again the proposal of "delete" the driver to install. So, I really stick.
Re: Unable to install my network card
It appears in addition to removal program? Try uninstalling driver via Device Manager: right click on the line concerning your network card, property, driver, uninstall. If you removed the driver as you recommended, what happens? Will the operation is up? error message?
