Flash BIOS
I want to put an Athlon x2 on my K9N Platinum (MSI), I must therefore update my BIOS right? For that I found on the MSI forum soft to do it from a usb key but I do not know how to choose the version of BIOS to be taken:

I have a 3500+ and say I want to put a 5600+ 65W. I must take the BIOS 7250v1B.zip?
Another question, flashing, I did with the 3500+ or with the 5600+? (I believe 3500+ good but I am afraid)
Somebody told me I could take the latest BIOS and flash that I had with the 3500+; but this time, why bother to make a list of BIOS versions with different processors if the last version works?

Re: Flash BIOS
The last date in bios except beta except for specific reasons. Flashing should be done with the material logically supported by the bios in place, the upgrade will be done after Flashing bios.
The link you give is the minimum version of the bios to support this CPU. This page is more appropriate and more understandable.

Re: Flash BIOS
Thank you for providing the link.
Just a little problem of drivers of the audio chip of the motherboard but found and reinstalled windows live boot
At boot, when it displays the hard disks connected and everything, it displays
"A: * something that speaks of driver *
press F1 you resume "
is what drivers?

Re: Flash BIOS
The SATA drivers?
if you flashed your BIOS, the default settings may not have the SATA hard disks by default.
it's just a setting to make your own
