unable to login into network PC

Hello friends,

I am facing an issue with my PC.Whenever i am trying to login using my user id in my office i am getting the following error message as

System Error 1240 - The account is not authorized to login from this station

Can anyone help me out with this issue.

Sure i will help you out with this issue try to follow the below steps:-

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in the run option.
3. Registry window would get open
   
4. Browse to the following location
   
   
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkStation\Parameters
   
   
5. Now add the following value and data value to the following registry key:
   
   
   • Value Name: EnablePlainTextPassword
   • Data Type: REG_DWORD
   • Data: 1
