I am not able to enter AD in SBS Console. I am using SBS 2008. It is a new server and there is no issue with the configuration. But when I try to access AD I am getting a busy message on the screen. There is no error at all. So somehow the AD is working but it looks the connection is extremely slow. I am looking for some kind of network analyzer that can allow me to track the connectivity timing between AD and other workstations on the network.
Why don't you try a clean installation. Instead of getting messed with the existing connection you must always create a test workstations. That is one of the best way to find out errors. I got the issue while migrating to SBS 2003 and later on on fresh installation things were resolved. There was no problem with the connectivity. SBS Best Practice Analayzer can guide you for the actual performance. There are set of manual and other tools also available that you can use to manage the connectivity issue.
