Adjust the speed of fan from bios
Hello, I have for some time a new fan and another extraction fan, both connected to my motherboard. But when I turn on my PC it is like a side of a rocket. speedfan works very well but I have to redo each manip start, I wanted to know if it it had an option in the bios to fix that.
My motherboard is a K9VGM-V and my bios is a Phoenix 1.8
Thank you for your help
Re: Adjust the speed of fan from bios
The fan you have has is 3 or 4 pins ? And what about the the motherboard is in 3 or 4 pins? It's an Intel or AMD ?
Re: Adjust the speed of fan from bios
The fan is 3 and the pins on the motherboard has 4 pins.

it's AMD. Is there any solution ?
Re: Adjust the speed of fan from bios
Unfortunately if it's 4 pins you can not control the fan from the BIOS.
Otherwise only method to automate the launch of fan speed (shortcut in all programs -> startup and setting the maximum speed of the fan at a lower speed in the options.
Anyway, even if it avoids having to type the manip manually each time, takes some time for the fan speed will launch and you will be entitled to turbine noise anyway.
Re: Adjust the speed of fan from bios
Otherwise alternative, you disable the fan monitoring trial in the bios and you plugged into a different outlet 3 pins if available.
or
Alternative as well (but pay), you bought a Zalman ZM-MC1 is a Molex adapter 4 fans taken 3 pins. His will allow you to connect and power your 2 fans with a 3-pin voltage 5v.
