Asus P5N7A-VM info required
Hi folks,
I m looking to buy the Asus p5n7a-vm mobo in chennai for quite a while now. But even after a whole month of searching and calling folks i m not able to get this mobo. I tried calling mumbai directly and nobody seems to have it in stock. I read from reviews that this is a great HTPC mobo and gives decent performance in games with its geforce 9300 IGP.Though i saw in a few forums that many people had bootup problems. Please let me know whether this is good choice. i m going to go with a core2duo e7400,4gb ram,500 gb HDD,22 inch Samsung LCD display and zebronics case.
But since its not available anywhere i m losing interest in it.:crybaby: can anyone suggest a gud mobo. my requirement now is basic comp usage with good video and audio playback. i might upgrade to a gud graphic card later to play the latest games.
Thanks in Advance.

How much is your budget? Tried looking for your range of mobo by finding out the price of it? http://forums.techarena.in/motherboa...am/1064645.htm

Hi,
Thanks for the info guys. but the actual price is only 7600. The problem is these sites have put it up for sale online but dont have stock when i call to check up.
can u suggest gud alternative mobo(Intel LGA 775). range : 5000 to 10000 bucks. should support good video playback. Also pls suggest a gud graphic card. Range: Around 5000 bucks. i know this will get me only a entry level card.
Also tell me how to choose the case and SMPS for this config.

Take a look at the Gigabyte EP45-UD3R/UD3P. If you are willing to pay a bit more I would recommend the 780i motherboard.
I also see the MSI P45 Neo3-FR gets recommended for Core2Duo E7400. The MSI is very popular and a good overclocker too.
However, I dont know the prices of all these recommended motherboards in rupess. Have a research...
