Safari : Some Web sites blocked?

Hi,

I wanted to ask if anyone knows a way in Safari to certain Web sites inaccessible to and without the parental control.
For the parental extra so I have a new account - but I would like best. Sites with my account blocked. I am using Mac os x.

For enabling parental controls to give them access to only a limited list of sites.

Also, you can do is, block hosts on a one-by-one basis by adding them to the /etc/hosts file, with an IP address of 0.0.0.0. If you're not familiar with the terminal although then I don't recommend this route.

Download Firefox (http://en.www.mozilla.com/en/firefox/) for mac and once you've downloaded and opened Firefox, click on this link for ProCon Latte (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1803) (in Firefox). After you download ProCon Latte it will appear under Tools on the top of your screen (your toobar when firefox is opened) and you can assign a password, add websites you want blocked etc. Just click on the tab that says Main Filter (once you have ProCon Latte open), check the box that says "Enable Explicit Material Filter" then you can add or take away words/websites to be blocked. It's really easy. Hope this helped.
