How to return from shareaza version 2.4.0.0. to 2.2.5.0

I want to return from Shaeraza version 2.4.0.0 to version 2.2.5.0 which worked very well ... But in re-download the old version and installing it, I always found the 2400 version! How to transfer the new version without deleting or delete downloads that are taking place? Thank you for your answers.

Watching or your files being downloaded are placed on the hard disk (directory) then copy it to my documents (for example;)), then uninstall from Add / Remove Programs of version 2.4. Then do a good cleaning of the registry with a program like ccleaner.

Remove manually if the auto uninstall did not shaeraza directory in Program Files.
Install your version 2.2.5 and then once it is installed, your settings again to indicate the directory downloads in progress, the directory that you copied to the top (to my documents for example;)). Once you close your software you should see your downloads in the current list of your files.

Installing Shareaza

1. First, using your web browser, go to the Shareaza download page, which offers links to the latest version of Shareaza.
2. On that page you will find a link to download Shareaza, it's named Download Shareaza Now. Click on it and a file download dialog will appear.
3. In that dialog, click "Save To Disk", then it will show another dialog where you can choose where to put the Shareaza setup file: for example, you may save it to the desktop.
4. Once the download is done, look on the desktop look for a red icon with a yellow "S" in it, that is Shareaza's installer. Double click on it to run it.
5. You will be prompted to choose a language to continue using during the installation process.
6. A License Agreement comes up. Read through the GPL and change the radio button to I accept if you agree to the terms and want to continue the installation.
7. There are options to choose the type of installation: most users will be happy with a full installation, which is the default choice.
8. Shareaza will ask you where to create the start menu folder. If you get an error in selecting the location of the install, see the troubleshooter.
9. If you like, choose to install Shareaza with the Multi-User option. In this case, certain files will be installed in your Windows user directory. If another user of the computer wants their own Shareaza installation, have that user also rerun the installer while logged into their account. This way, each user can have different preferences, libraries and settings.
10. There is an option to delete old installers. Choosing it will delete older versions of the Shareaza installer from your hard drive permanently.
11. Once the installation is complete, you can close the installer by clicking on the close button.
12. You might also want to delete the installer program, since it is no longer needed: go to the desktop and find the Shareaza installation file and drag it to the Recycle Bin. (Don't confuse the installer with the shortcut to start Shareaza though.)
13. Now you are done installing Shareaza, and can continue to the next step, which will guide you through running Shareaza for the first time.

So you are simply using a v2.4 core with the plugins etc. and the outdated .dat files from a previous version??? the you could have also replaced the entire application... It would have had the same effect... only there were less bugs and more updated servers etc.

I have uninstalled shareaza downloaded it again and it works. So it must of been a corrupt download. Happens some times.
