AMD Phenom II x4 920 vs AMD Phenom II x4 940

Hi,

I have a option of AMD Phenom II x4 920 and AMD Phenom II x4 940 and i know that the 940 is better then the the 920 and 920 is cheaper :rolleyes: .

If i go with the 920,, i can overclock it and make it performance boost as 940 :whistling .

What do you think? am i right with the 920 (saving few $) or i should go with the performance ?

The 940 is better, it has an unlocked multiplier which is better for overclocking, which means you can overclock further than the 920.

I think you should go with the 940 ,, If you are a overclocking fan

AMD Phenom II x4 940 can reach up to 3.6ghz ,, and it is not possible for 920 . so it is better to go with the 940 if money is not the issue .

Can anyone show some benchmarks of 920 & 940 models!
