closing network connection
hi there
I am having problem in my network. (Wireless Network).....
the problem is that when I Shut down my SYSTEM (Windows XP) it gives me a message "Closing network Connection"
On the server(Windows Server 2003) i've installed a printer and shared this on my network.
After that when i turn on my System, it shows me that the printer is not connected with my SYSTEM (Access denied). on the other side I can access the server's data from my System.
so I've to Delete the printer installed on my system And reinstall the printer, after every Log On....
I know that this happenes due to the "Closing network connection"
please Give me the sulotion to avoid this type of problem..
Regards
Imran
Re: closing network connection
This behavior can occur if you do not select the Save Password check box when you first connect to the printer on a network that uses trusted connections.remove and then reinstall the printer through the Printers and Faxes command on the Start menu. When you first connect to the reinstalled printer and must enter credentials, click to select the Save Password check box.
Re: closing network connection
At startup, press the F8 key and choose last known
good configuration. Note that you will almost certainly
need to re-run spyware and antivirus scans.
Re: closing network connection
Right click on the network connection and select "Properties". Under where it says "Connect using", select the configure button. This will bring up a new dialog box, where you select the "Power Management" tab. Here is the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" - is this checked? If so, try unchecking it & see if this fixes your problem.
