I have Compaq keyboard. I want to use keyboard button to launch my email client instantly. But whenever i click on that button. nothing happens. Can anyone help me please?

To configure email button follow these steps:
- Go to Control Panel
- Double click Keyboard
- Go to special buttons option
- Click on email button
To change default email keyboard button:
Open Internet Explorer =>select tools =>internet options =>programs tab. there from drop down list you can select your default email client.
The specifics will vary based on the manufacturer of your keyboard, all you need do is go to Control Panel and double click on the keyboard item. There should be options that will let you configure the special buttons on your keyboard, including the email button.
To hook up Outlook Express as the mail client for that button, you would specify msimn.exe. You'll probably need the full path, which is typically c:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe
You may need to set Windows Explorer NOT to hide the extensions of known file types so that the .EXE extension is visible.
