Toner Problem - HP 1200 Laser Jet

Hello Friends,

From last few days I face problem with printing. I have HP laserJet 1200 Series printer, When I give print command, left side content will be print in black dots. I mean it print but not properly. As per my friend opinion it's just because of toner drum problem and I have to change it and buy new toner.

I want to know about toner drum? what it means? Is it repairable? Why this kind of problem has raise in printers?

Please suggest me, Can I go to buy new toner? If yes please suggest me any good online Printing supply source.

Take it to a local re-manufacturer and ask them to fix it for you. That cartridge is fairly complex to get into (you must drill an access hole to punch out the pins). I am sure that for a nominal fee they will repair it for you. However, at 3 years old, the toner will probably print lighter that a "fresh" cartridge so you may be better off with a fresh toner cartridge.

A toner cartridge is different than a drum.Toner is the so-called ink as you call it.A drum is a shiny round metal device to form the image.Toner is magnetically drawn to the drum.A fuser section near the output of the machine actually fuses the toner to the paper (melts it).Based solely on your words that you ran out of ink (toner), you need a toner cartridge.

As per your replies, yesterday I start search for Printer service provider and I found one online Printing Supply Source. They provide their services in Hp Inkjet Cartridges. They also provide their services in Epson Printer Ink Cartridges, Epson Printer Ink, Canon Printer Inks, Canon Printer Ink Cartridges. They also offer daily shipping services for international order.

Another printer supplier to try is Paragon Matrix. They specialise in remanufactured ink and toner cartridges, therefore the products are made from refurbished products so compatibility is not a problem plus they are about 60 to 75% cheaper than new ones and work great!:rofl_2:
