Sli between 9800gtx and gtx+
Hello with all,
I wish to know if it were possible to make a SLI between the 9800GTX which I have, and a 9800GTX+ that I intend to buy (by default considering that the 9800GTX ?
Doesn't Nvidia certify the different SLI of chipset but changes it as much as its!?
Thank you for your answer.

I had the same question but it is between a gtx260 and a gtx260+ one my known as that it is possible but that the performance of the gtx260+ would be bridled has those of the gtx260, i.e. that it would not lose enormously levels frequencies.

Hey,
both cards are SLI enabled? there are 3 different rendering modes to choose from as well. you might see which one works best on the games you play most.

In general if, in the worst case you always can overclock your ace GTX260 on the frequencies of one 260+ and idem for the 9800 and 9800+.

The GTX+ was only a die-shrink enabling higher clocks if i remember correctly. You should plug the GTX into the first PCIe1 and the GTX+ into PCIe2 so the faster card gets clocked down to GTX level. While i don't know for a fact that it works, i do think it should work.
