GeForce 8800 GTS - Blocked by Windows
I have used my GeForce 8800 GTS cards in almost two years now, and it has worked perfectly and smoothly, but in the past there have been strange things.
After playing Gothic III, the screen began to fusk. Received notification from Windows that "display driver stopped working" and would be restarted.
This happened several times, and not just in the game [the game has plenty of bugs, yes].
Red dots and vertical lines started to appear on my monitor, and restart the PC automatically. It ended finally with the Windows video card blocked "due to error", and I can not help but use your PC in 16 colors. These vertical lines [which are there from the start of the PC, not only in Windows] seems to me very mysterious, and I fear that the card has taken the evening. I can not upload a screenshot, because you do not want to see the mysterious lines. They are namely only on my own screen, and will not appear on others.
Yes, I have tried to install the latest driver, but Windows has blocked the card. Yes, I have removed the dust from the short-blower.
Do you have any tips for how to fix it? Could it be the video card that no longer works, or there may be other reasons?

May sound like the card has gone. Yes, for what you describe.

Seems like that. But initially VGA card worked normally, without these mysterious lines.
it was just about to do to get a good and inexpensive gaming card, then!

Yes, but first you may well in fact try to get back a card for the warranty, or run the complaints? Would tried it in any case. If you're lucky, you may receive a better card in exchange.
