USB shows warning message

Hello friends,

I am facing an issue with my PC. I am not able to use my usb pen drive,whenever i try to connect it and I am getting some kind of error message as Unknown usb device or not recognized .

Can anyone fix this issue for me it would be great for me.

Sure i will help you out with this try to follow the below steps:-

1. Click Start, click on Run, type Devmgmt.msc, and then click OK. The Device Manager window opens.
   
2. Click to select your computer as the location for the scan.
   
3. On the Action menu, click Scan for hardware changes.
   
4. Close the Device Manager window.

Thanks for your reply i try to do the following things but it didn't worked out for me.Please provide me with other solution to fix this issue.

I was also facing similar kind of issue i try to follow the steps and it worked.

1. Click on Start, click on Run, type Devmgmt.msc, and then click OK. The Device Manager window opens.
   
2. Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers.
   
3. Right-click a USB Root Hub in the list, and then click Properties. The USB Root Hub Properties dialog box is displayed.
4. Now click on the Power Management tab.
5. Click to clear the Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power check box, and then click OK.
   
6. Repeat steps 3 through 6 for each USB Root Hub in the list.
   
7. On the Action menu, click Scan for hardware changes.
   
8. Now close the Device Manager window.
