How to configure Nvidia graphics card in Ubuntu

Hey guys!
I have Ubuntu installed in my machine since a month or so. I just bought a graphics card from Sparkle Nvidia GeFore 8400GS 512MB DDR2. Its working fine but i need to configure some display settings. Where can i find one? Help guys!

Navigate from the menus you will definitely find some video setting.
Click on the menu and then in Administration menu you'll find a video setting tool.
Try that! May be that will help you!

Try running this command in console/terminal :

If Ubuntu has its settings installed you'll be able to configure any settings from this nvidia-only graphics tool.

yeah thats the correct command... I had an issue of low graphics quality i did the same but make sure you run it with root right / administrator right or simply add sudo before it. so now the code will be :
