Hi guys.
Firstly, i have a p4 extreme edition SL7CH gallatin core processor.478 pin. will this mobo support it?
is this the best pci express, 478 pin, sata, and ddr2 [667, but my 800 mhz should work fine i think] capable mobo around?
and lastly, is this still available, and approximately how much it would cost, in rupees?
do you guys have any other suggestions [hopefully including a ddr2 800 mhz ram!]?

Dear boys
I wanted someone to help me understand something!
I bought a motherboard manual reflects the fact that the words P4M90-M4 (so you can install 4GB of RAM) but with a bitter surprise installing
SIW program and going on the "motherboard" I reported that lza symbol identifying mainboard is just P4M90-M4 (so max 1 GB of RAM)!
I wonder but Biostar has covered both motherboards?
The difference of the two is precisely on the mainboard RAM (900 = 90 = 1 GB and 4 GB)?
The fact that I mistakenly put two benches of kingston 2 gb (total 4gb) thinking it was the model 900 it determines revive spontaneous?
Indeed lamcchina with two banks of 2 gb gave life to revive spontaneous and unexpected!
I state that the initial startup screen of the PC goes well written the model of the motherboard which is precisely: "P4M900-M4"
Or has mentioned the problem on another explanation?
And if so which one?
Do I have to install any case management software (bios-drivers)
Sorry for the verbosity of the dilemma, but some days I am going crazy to unravel this situation!
A double edged thanks ....
Post scritum : posso post photos that depict what is said above!
A cordial greeting dodago
Please exscuse me because j am italian boy

Trying to build an inexpensive server running Windows Home Server (WHS). Can anyone tell me if the Biostart P4M900-M4 mobo drivers will support WHS. I've gotten conflicting info from my local infotech store, so would like to confirm.
Re: Biostar P4M900-M4 socket 478 Motherboard
Does any one have the latest bios or bios "P490MC12.BS".
I have gone to the site and downloaded the latest bios P490M117.BS and tried 3 flashing utilities, they hangs, reject it,says "this is not an award bios". even tried /f for force.
I'm wondering if the site has the correct bios up for download.

Can you tell us what is the make and model of your motherboard? I think that this bios is not compatible with the motherboard model that you have?

Can you try to follow the topic on "BIOS Update per bootable CD under DOS" from the below link and see if that helps:
