I'm trying to burn a ISO image to a Sony DVD-RW but I get hardware error 14848 from UltraISO, also Windows seems to think that the DVD is a CD.

Try burning your DVD on some other computer. Might be your DVD-RW is malfunctioning, may be the lens [laser] has become a bit weak... There can be many reasons for a DVD to not burn...
I have a dual boot computer with Windows XP and Windows Vista. Doesn't work with any operating system... I wanna burn my college festival's DVD so that i can pass it on to my friends...!

Try to burn some other DVD. May be your DVD has a lot of scratches and your DVD-RW doesn't like it...:bleh:

Yeah i did that before you replied...! Its working the DVD was not working... Thanks though...! But make sure next time you reply a bit early so i don't need to rack my brains! :bleh:
