Reinstall drivers after reinstalling Windows
Hello,
To "reset" my computer which started really slow, I decided to reformat and reinstall Windows completely.
Fairly easy, it's a Dell and I have the installation CD and a CD with drivers Except that apparently, there are a number of drivers that I can not install ... Starting with my Ethernet controller (I guess why I can not even connect to the Internet with an Ethernet cable ...)
I made a complete diagnosis on PCI Everest, In the config panel, then "device manager" under "other devices" I have a question for: Ethernet controller, Multimedia audio controller, network controller, PCI model, video controller and video controller (VGA compatible)
I precise that I have already tried to use the Dell site with my serial number etc. .. but it did not help (let's say I install the superfluous stuff - not good - which is planted on every boot - so I reinstall Windows completely the umpteenth time)
Could you help me?
Thank you very much!!

Hello!
So when you say you can not install the drivers, you put it as what error message / what is it?
You are under XP or Vista?
Re: Reinstall drivers after reinstalling Windows
Hello!
I am in XP,
In fact it does not find the drivers on the CD from Dell that is supposed to contain all, and I tried the Dell site but it has put unnecessary stuff and obviously what was to be...
Given what I sent, which drivers should I install?
(actually I take the head with it since weeks and I have a little tired .. sorry to bother you)
Thank you very much!
Re: Reinstall drivers after reinstalling Windows
But do you know how to install the drivers?
You have to go in the directory of the driver on the cd, and you run the installation program called setup.exe
check this out...
