ASUS Rampage II Extreme and Core i7 - Standard Voltage
I've recently noticed that my Rampage II Extreme my poor Core i7 920 exorbitantly overvoltet if I have the core voltage on auto body. So I would like the default voltages are aware of the following settings (in brackets the - currently set value for me if not auto)
- CPU Voltage (1.31250 V)
- CPU PLL Voltage (1.89542 V)
- QPI / DRAM Core Voltage
- Voltage IOH
- IOH PCIE Voltage
- ICH Voltage
- PCIE Voltage
- DRAM Bus Voltage (1.65681 V),on standard Clocked Core i7 920 plus 3 x 2GB OCZ PC12800 DDR3 RAM.
Thanks in advance!
Re: ASUS Rampage II Extreme and Core i7 - Standard Voltage
hi,
the cpu voltage should you ever make to auto. this should be folded and the temperature falls even a decent piece again, got my i7 is currently on a 3.0Ghz Cpu voltage of 0992 V, which 1.3xx when you are set you need only at around 3.8 GHz.
Re: ASUS Rampage II Extreme and Core i7 - Standard Voltage
One should minimize tension on CAR have increased because otherwise the mainboard itself constantly and the components can be damaged. So necessarily Vcore, NB voltage, Vdimm. you should EIST / Speedstep and disable the PCIe clock fixed.

3GHz with 0.992V? I was already at 3GHz with 1.25V unstable? I must try it again. Speedstep and turbo mode ... yes because I have the setting in my BIOS has not yet found, I do as soon as possible.
