Hi all,
Soon i'm going to buy Corsair HX620w power supply. But i'm not sure if its sufficient. I'm having 2 HD4850 in crossfire mode with the rest of my system. May i'll make some more modification in system including increasing RAM and HDD. So will it be sufficient for me?

I had that exact PSU with my previous rig, and I was able to run 4 HDDs, 2x1950pro in XF, an OC'ed X2 and a bunch of case fans no problems. The only time I ran into troubles was when the room temps got over 30C in the summer, then I would get random reboots when gaming.
One thing to look for are PSUs that rate their power efficiency @ 50C instead of the usual 25-30C.
Yes the corsair HX620w can run all those quite comfortably. And realistically, you'll be hearing your video cards fan before you can hear the psu fan.
A few reasons:
- It's excellent quality. It'll definitely provide its rated power (and a bit more) easily, and that'll be relatively 'clean' power. It's got the right distribution of power too (lots available on +12V, not so much on +5V or +3.3V).
- It's nearly silent.
- Unlike certain other brands, Corsair is always good. Some of the CM Extreme PSUs are good; others are rubbish. Some of the Thermaltake PSUs are excellent, but others are rebadged generic 250W ATX1.3 units. The Corsair PSUs are always good quality models.
- Modular - always nice to have.
- They're reasonably cheap and easy to find. Zalman PSUs are great, but often hard to find. Seasonic (who actually make the HX-620) are similarly rare.
Essentially, the advantage of the HX-620 is that if someone recommends it, the buyer is likely to be able to find one without much trouble at all. When they do find one, there's no need to go looking for a specific model number or production date - all the HX-620s are excellent. It's very much an all-round PSU; it's quiet, it's powerful enough for a top-end system, it's efficient, and very reliable.
Quite apart from that, when OCAU as a whole finds something good, it tends to stick with it. Currently, the standard PSU recommendations are the CM Extreme 460W (for cheap systems) and the HX-620 (for expensive systems).
