Error:System Restore tab missing

Hi friends,

I am facing an issue with my PC, I don't know whats the issue whenever i am trying to Restore my System.System Restore tab is missing from there.Can anyone help me out with this issue.

Try a boot the PC into safe mode (F8) and select last good configuration and see if it comes back or

See if system restore is in the programs menu
Click on start - - > All programs - - > Accessories - - > System tools - - >System restore.

I try to do the following things but it didn't worked out for me thanks for providing me the solution.


Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 Ghz
G31 Asrock Motherboard with Intel chipset
2gb RAM
256 Nvidia Graphic Card
200gb HDD

I was also facing such kind of issue i try to follow the below steps and it worked for me hope it will work for you too.

1. Click on Start.
2. Type regedit in run Option.
3. Registry window would get open and browse to the following location
   
   
   • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\SystemRestore
   
   
4. In the right pane, right click on each of these Value Keys and select delete.
   
   • DisableSR
   • DisableConfig
   
   
   
5. Close Regedit.
6. Reboot your PC Once.
