Choice of ram for PC
Hi,
I am responsible for making special effects, here is my current configuration level memory: It is therefore taken 2 memory locations.
The best would be to buy another 2 times 1024 MB; Replace the memory game 2 times 1024 MB by a set of 2 x 2048 MB Or another suggestion?
Thank you in advance for your answers!
P.S I have Windows Vista Premium 32-bit, so I could take only 3 GB, but as yet I have a graphics card with 128 MB, is there a performance gain when Windows will allocate the remaining Go to my graphics card ?

Re: Choice of ram for PC
You really need more than 2GB of Ram ? If so, I advise you not to take a kit of 2 x 1GB, since in any case 32-bit Windows supports only 4 GB of addressing.
Otherwise, the performance of your graphics card will not benefit from the additional memory.

Re: Choice of ram for PC
To be sure that you have not enough, is in the Windows Task Manager (with control + alt + sup +) ---> Performance tab ---> then look at the value peak, as his, how will you eat windows RAM maximum peak after your special effects.
Otherwise, I do not know if windows vista 32 bit default is set to allocate more than 2 GB to a task (to verify thus). Otherwise, 1 kit for 2 * 1 GB 1 Go that extra cost may be more suited to 32 bits.
