This test shall not see you as you play more than 2 hours without any problems such as these would otherwise that your Overclock is too important, therefore, decreases the frequencies. I am not a Pro OC graphics card (not an OC at all: p) but I've been doing overclock graphics card. (1950Pro and 8800GTS 512).

what is your complete configuration ? what is the brand and the power of your power supply ? this may be the relationship between the gpu and memory? I not trying to lower your overclok. your powersupply must be the bottom of game, so it may be too powerful
