LAN and WLAN adapter setup
Hello together,
I tried on my Vista Home Laptop with a WLAN adapter with fixed IP's that will also fractionate. But If I fixed the LAN adapter with IP's feed because I'm using WLAN and times with the LAN into the network wants to be after you restart the LAN Settings on laptop are gone and it is on DHCP.
I do not want both adapters simultaneously but only optional. Is this somehow?
WLAN IP 192.168.178.11
LAN IP 192.168.178.12
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Sandardgateway 192.168.178.1
Thanks a lot!
Re: LAN and WLAN adapter setup
Sometimes the actual IP configuration (Start> Run> type cmd> click OK> ipconfig / all, enter> press Enter> select all and copy).
If the problem occurs because even when you test times for the LAN adapter only one IP address and subnet mask and gateway but enter the DNS server is empty?
Possibly. Vista has a lock in it that no longer allows two network cards in the same gateway entered.

Re: LAN and WLAN adapter setup
Hi,
I'm solving one step closer (I think in any case). I have the DHCP client management services disabled. Now, the IP settings, only the dns entry is gone, and hence no internet until I had entered him again. Also, the IP's from other DNS servers will be deleted when I reboot, on both network adapters.
Thanks a lot!
Re: LAN and WLAN adapter setup
Hello,
there are programs that have different IP configurations stored in profiles, which you can then simply key combination can switch ..
Try Mobile Net Switch is Vista capable, and to my knowledge Freeware
