Windows XP Home SP3 Formatting problem
I have a big problem (at least for me) wanting to format my computer which was then under Windows XP Home SP3 and there was a step backward: I boot to format the original installation CD (SP1 family), everything goes well and then when I want to connect to my livebox by wi-fi nothing happens. When I activate the wi-fi window does not appeared. Moreover, in network connections only the 1394 connection is present but no wireless network connection. In addition, I have the impression that the PC has "regressed" large icons at the opening sessions, no music or the ignition or extinction.
Re: Windows XP Home SP3 Formatting problem
provide the exact model of the motherboard and the wireless card for us to help you.
Re: Windows XP Home SP3 Formatting problem
In fact it is a laptop too, therefore, not want to look within is how to find the motherboard model and the wi-fi card please? This motherboard has been changed by the VAS of Medion after sending the 3rd and I had not formatted for this change (and they do not send me CD)
Previously I had already carried out successfully formatting. Nothing to install than XP.
Re: Windows XP Home SP3 Formatting problem
If it is a SP1, it needs SATA drivers (if you have a dd of this type), but surely on the CD manufacturer. On a mobile phone brand, I do not know, but on a pc fixed, after formatting you must reinstall the chipset drivers (see cd for the motherboard) for the network card.
