Hello
I do not know what you have as a burning software NERO or ROXIO . if you have one, you go on the option to format the CD
- Insert the CD-RW, DVD-RW, DVD+RW, or DVD-RAM disc into your computer's CD or DVD burner.
- Open Computer by clicking the Start button , and then clicking Computer.
- Click the drive icon that represents your writeable drive, and then, on the toolbar ("file menu"-may have to hold ALT), click Erase this disc.
Follow the steps in the Erase Disc Wizard.
If it is a CD-RW, the option will be there in windows explorer if you right click on the drive and look for erase, if not in the options, Windows does not detect it as CD-RW (which might mean the disc was finalized when files were written to it)
