i cant seem to get in to this restore file

Still having problems the Win32/PEPatch
i cant seem to get in to this restore file any help also i cant see 2 IE running either in the ms config


Turn off system restore...delete the"SRDISKID.DAT" in the _restore folder...either the one on c:\, d:\, e:\, etc. depends how many partitions and drives you have.

check your msconfig startup items. Make sure there is not 2 IEXPLORE's running there. If there is, look to see if one has a zero (0) instead of an oh (o). Delete/disable it if it has a zero, as well as delete it's corresponding registry key. restart the computer.

make sure you have a good software firewall to make sure it is not "sending out" any info.
my firewall seems to want to keep downloading the patch that the virius comes in ?

Boss its a virus! And you need to clean it with a good antivirus please update your antivirus program & scan your machine.

obviously the virus isn't gone boot into safe mode and then scan the system remove the infected file(s) and rescan again. or Better wipe the drive and install linux.

Your problem mentioning way is little confusing as you could see that in the earlier two lines you have mentioned your problem and in the consecutive next line you have mentioned your problem this is something not understanding so please be careful or be specific to your problem.

Ok and related to your Question which you have mentioned then it's a Virus and you have to remove it manually..
