How can i play VOB files in Windows Media Player

Hi ,

Why Windows Media Player is unable to play .vob file ?and even if the windows explorer showing the thumbnail of .vob file.

You need to have MPEG-2 codec and I don't think there are any free ones available -- and don't know if the Nimo pack has one. Anyway, if it does, you should be able to simply load VOB and watch it.

try k_lite, you may be in need of installing k_lite... http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm or use VLC or MPlayer to play VOB files.

You can browse to your VOBs in Windows Movie Maker by using Show All Files in the Import Files... window, and then save them out as WMVs that should work fine with DVD Maker.

VOBs aren't really designed to be useful for DVD Maker, so you're kind of trying to shove a square peg into a round hole. But via the above you should be able to get it working.
