Audio Book Ripping Problems
I have an irratating problem ripping Audio Books.
Here is the problem: When I try to rip Audio books to my hard drive any ripping program I use stop at a certain track and do not finish ripping. My CD drive then acts like it is speeding up to read the cd, but almost as quickly slows back down. It seems stuck in that cycle and does not stop until I eject the CD.
I can rip music cds and have tried several different audio books. All of the books seem to stop in random places.
I have Windows Vista SP1. I have used Windows Media, iTunes, Audioripper, and FreeRIP all with the exact same results.
I have tried changing the bit rate to the smallest size to see if that would work, however it did not.
The audio books are not copy protected and I can copy them on other computers. This is very inconvienent and would like to rip them on to my own hard drive.
Thank you for any help:biggrin:
Re: Audio Book Ripping Problems
Can you convert to a different format?
Does dMC Configuration show you as registered?
Does it do this with all of your CDs or just for the ebooks?
Re: Audio Book Ripping Problems
You may want to try DMC-R10. It's a free, uncomplicated cd ripper/converter.
"dBpowerAMP Music Converter" is also very good. It appears in the context menu, so all you do is right click files to make conversions.
Try ripping individual audio tracks instead of ripping as a whole.
