How do i get back my default folder view
Hey everyone,
I'm not able to get back my default folder view on my computer. I tried to reset it but it didn't work for me. I want to change it to .jpg format. Can any one tell me how can i do so and how do i get mt default settings back? Any help on this would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Try to customize the appearance for a particular folder. To customize the appearance of a folder, follow these steps:
1. Start Windows Explorer, and then locate the folder that you want to customize.
2. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties.
3. On the Customize tab, select the customization options you want to use for the folder.
Note: The Customize tab is not available for special folders where Windows has already set their default appearances. But, you may be able to customize the folder picture for the Thumbnails view of some special folders.

Here’s the quick way to do it.
1. Open a folder
2. Click the View menu
3. Select the type of view you want (large, small, details, list, etc.)
4. Click the View menu again
5. Select Arrange Icons
6. Select the type of arrange and if you want Auto Arrange
7. Look at your folder view. This will be the folder view that you are going to set as your default folder view if you continue. If you are not happy, continue to adjust the methods of viewing and arranging. Then continue.
8. Click the Tools menu
9. Click Folder Options
10. Click View tab
11. Click Apply to All Folders
Re: How do i get back my default folder view
The first thing you want to do is open up a folder, any folder for that matter. I decided to go with the My Documents folder. Once the folder is open, click on the View button in the menu bar, then select the view you would like to use. I prefer the list view, but you can select whichever one you want.
Now that you have changed the view, click the Tools button in the menu bar. In the drop down menu, select Folder Options.
A window should pop up, and you should select the View tab. Once the View tab is open, click Apply to all Folders. This will apply these settings to all of the folders on your computer.
