Re: Unable to Connect 192.168.1.1
check your network settings .. if your router's IP is 192.168.1.1 all of the following devices must be in the same IP 192.168.1.xxx and so on i think thats a IP conflict assign a static IP in your VOIP to make sure it doesnt affect your settings
Re: Unable to Connect 192.168.1.1
i think your VoIP router is conflicting with your 54G router.
disconnect the VoIP router and try again. It is possible that both have DHCP enabled and that they would conflict on the settings. Take the VoIP router out of the picture and see if things improve.
Re: Unable to Connect 192.168.1.1
check the following steps :
1)connect the computer to the router's port#1
2)connect the modem to the router's internet port
3)there shouldn't be any cables connected between the modem and the computer directly
4)reset the router for 30 seconds and do a power cycle
5)check the ip add again and if you get 192.168.1.x , try accessing the router using http://192.168.1.1
Re: Unable to Connect 192.168.1.1
192.168.1.1 isn't the ipaddress of your computer. It's the ip address of the router, itself (which has a built-in web server which serves the configuration settings pages). Not being able to access it might be a problem communicating with the router, or with your firewall settings.
If your IP is something like 192.168.1.x where x is a number greater than one, then that means that your router's DHCP server has assigned your computer an IP address. If your IP is something like 167.x.x.x then that means that your computer cannot connect to the router nor find a DHCP server, so is assigning itself its own IP address. What IP are you getting? This will help troubleshoot whether your computer can see the router at all.
Re: Unable to Connect 192.168.1.1
After 30 seconds keep on pressing down on the reset button but now introduce the power so plug it in and power it up.

In your computer start network LAN and then go to its Network properties page and open or select TCP/Ip properties
enter 192.168.1.10 255.255.255.0
default 192.168.1.1
dns 208.67.220.220 208.67.222.222
Apply and Save.
After that check if the network connection is properly working.
