How to Delete Old Restore Points?

Windows XP makes regular restore points. In case of problems, these restore points allow you to put the system in a stable condition. Restore points are created at regular intervals by the system, but their presence consumes disk space. When your computer is stable, it is not necessary to retain multiple restore points. Windows XP has an option to delete all restore points obsolete and retain only the last. To perform this cleaning, go to My Computer, right-click the hard drive and select Properties. Click Disk Cleanup

To remove old restore points Do this:

1. Click on Start
   
   
2. Select "All Programs"
   
   
3. Click on Accessories
   
   
4. Click on System Tools
   
   
5. Then Select Disk Cleanup
   
   
6. After that Select the drive on which Windows XP is installed (normally "C") and click OK
   
   
7. Now click the More Options tab
   
   
8. In the System Restore section, click the Clean up button
   
   
9. Click "Yes"

Hello, But if Someone want to Delete whole restore then Follow these to remove all restore points: “To delete all the restore points on your computer, disable and re-enable system restore on the system. Click Start, Control Panel, and then the System icon. Click on the System Restore tab in the dialog box, select the Turn off System Restore check box, and click Apply. Clear the check box again to re-enable System Restore and then click OK.”
