Hello everyone, here is my problem: I have a 8800 gt 512MB club with a fan, the problem is that the fan is not running fast enough to cool GPU temperature. i am getting a temperature of 70° C while playing any game. and I'm afraid of my card and pc, So what do I do ?
my configuration
Motherboard Asus P5K SE P35.
Processeur Dore 2 duo E6550 2.33Ghz.
Ram-4 GB DDR Ram 2.
Screen LG W2242S 22 "c.
graphics card: Club 8800 gt 512 MB
Power: 250W of packarbell effective.
Any idea ?
Re: GeForce 8800 GT fan problem
It really isn't that hard to set up the fan speeds manually. In fact, I prefer doing it over letting the fan speed be controlled automatically. have you try to regulate fan with RivaTuner or nvidia ntune ?
Re: GeForce 8800 GT fan problem
Use a utility like rivatuner and set fan fixed at 100% auto startup with Windows should solve the problem, if not then a 3rd party cooler would certainly lower the temps by quite a bit.
Re: GeForce 8800 GT fan problem
Problem finding power supply too low! Probably not stable voltage and consumes your configuration.when graphics card is on ! That I think your problem will be solved if you change your power supply.
