When I rebooted and went to open the game again the computer shutdown and a red-light appeared on my GTX295 (the light has always been green).
thanks in advance for any help.
Re: Nvidia GTX 295 red light problem
Does the red light flash or stay solid ? My guess would be something is wrong with your psu not delivering enough power or your video card is defected. Sounds like the PSU isn't giving the card enough power . have you tried booting with just one stick of RAM installed ? Try to use a different power supply or try to use a spare video card to see if your system boots up correctly and run normally.
Re: Nvidia GTX 295 red light problem
can you give us more details about your pc , so that it can be easy for us to identify the problem. What is the model PSU that you have ? Is the computer actually starting up? Or just all the fans and stuff come on but no vidoe signal ?

Re: Nvidia GTX 295 red light problem
If things light up red then you have a problem and it is usually a sign that a power connector is unplugged. The GTX 295 video card requires a 680 Watt or greater power supply with a minimum of 46 Amps on the +12V rail. It also requires that the power supply has one 6-pin PCI Express power connector and an 8-pin PCI Express power connector for proper connection.
