Make sure that the device is set up according to the manufacturer's instructions and is turned on.Try the following step to slove the problem:

2. If the device appears on the Device tab, select the device and press Remove and Yes.
3. Select the My device is set up and ready to be found box.
4. Press Next.
5. If the device does not appear, make sure that the device is set up according to the manufacturer's instructions and is turned on. Press Search Again.
6. Select a passkey option and press Next.
7. If the documentation for your device includes a passkey or a personal identification number (PIN), press Use the passkey found in the documentation.
8. Type the passkey or the PIN, and press Next.
9. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Re: Windows doesn't see my device
hi,
This problem may occur if the printer driver does not use Plug and Play for its installation. The following registry key has become damaged:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\LPTENUM
Re: Windows doesn't see my device
Some Plug and Play devices that use a parallel port, such as early versions of Iomega Zip drives, may not be detected by Windows.
1.Right-click the My Computer icon on your desktop, and then click properties.
2. Click the Hardware tab, and then click Device Manager.
3. Click the [+] symbol to expand Ports, right-click Printer Port (LPT1) (or ECP Printer Port (LPT1)), and then click Properties.
(Note: If you have more than one printer port installed on your computer, click LPT2 or LPT3.)
4. Click the Port Settings tab, check Enable legacy Plug and Play detection, and then click OK.
5. Restart your computer when you are prompted to do so.
