Remove Windows Media Player
hello
I just don't want to use windows media player 11 as a default player to my audio files. I want to set AIMP2 as default player. How can i do that? will uninstall of windows media player will do that for me? BTW i'm on Windows Vista 32-bit

Hi,
Add / Remove Programs, then Windows Media Player 11 and reinstall the previous version. or The alternative is to define your other player as the default player for multimedia content.

I There are two possibilities:
1) When installing the new media player, a screen asking you if you want to set this player as a default player for various formats, in which you have to answer yes.
2)And second option is just right click on the media file and select Open with and in 'open with' window select the media player with which you want to open this media file and check on "always choose same program for this type of file" . and click ok. that's it.
