Facing some problem with purchased Ms Word 2007. I bought this yesterday, installed on my computer and activated with the key I received. Later when I launched WORD, it prompted me again to enter the key. I entered the key again but it says “Invalid Product Key”. I tried to do again but yet the same result.
What could be the problem? Though I activated it during installation, why is it prompting me again on launch ? Also why is it not accepting the keys ? Please help.
Yeah, sounds some weird behavior. Were you using any Trail version before installing this one? If yes, problem could be because of the same. You should have uninstalled it completely from the system and then install this. Anyway, you should try it now. Remove Word/Office 2007 completely from the system, run disk cleanup and than install it back again. It should work now.
Also make sure you are entering the keys you got with WORD 2007 and not windows key. And make sure you are entering correct key, don’t get confused between O and 0 OR B and 8.
Thanks for the help Jasonholt, that really helped. Don’t know what was the cause but I removed, ran disk cleanup and installed it again. It works fine now.
