Buying a Netbook? Need help?

I am looking into purchasing a Acer netbook. Which is the best model to buy? I'm looking for a light, thin, easy to use netbook. I don't care about gaming at all, what's most important is sound and other cool features that notebooks have these days. I am interested in the Acer aspire one. However, I don't know much about the other models. What is your opinion? I am open to suggestions. I would really appreciate an answer from someone who truly knows a lot about these netbooks and could thoroughly answer. Thanks in advance!

I've used about 4 Acer laptops. They all seem well built and robust. The physical construction is excellent. Performance-wise... well, that depends on the model. The models that I used were excellent. Money to Value ratio: EXCELLENT!

For support: I've had to service many Acer LCDs for firmware upgrades. I never had a single problem with their service.

By the way, what is your budget for this new notebook?

Acer Aspire One is a pretty good netbook and is the most popular one in 2008 as is reviewed on various sites. It has also pushed back Asus Eee PC to the second slot. So this signifies that Aspire One will be best for you in terms of performance if you dont care for gaming.
