Samsung SyncMaster U70 USB Sub-Monitor
Samsung will distribute a 7-inch monitor to accompany the main screen, named U70, which connects to USB. With a resolution of 800x480 and a response time of 30 ms, it is definitely not a basis for network play, but rather to keep an eye on his email or visit its widgets.
Its brightness is 200 cd / m², a contrast of 400:1. Finally, with respect to the angles will be 140 ° horizontally as vertically. Clearly already available in Germany it is officially sold in Korea anyway.
With characteristics very similar to what can be a standard picture frame, it should invade Europe soon for a fee of one hundred euros. It will be compatible only with Windows.
Re: Samsung SyncMaster U70 USB Sub-Monitor
Not understand the concept of a USB ... It would have been in top screen "wireless", history can put that right next to the PC (or, however, we can easily email alerts & co ...) And as mentioned earlier: in touch, it would have been extra!
Re: Samsung SyncMaster U70 USB Sub-Monitor
7 ", USB, a hundred euros. It will not work. For this price, both take a screen19 " if you want to do the monitoring. It will cost as much, we will have more display area, and does not with the usb.I admit that I have an old 15 "LCD booster that I launch Flock and 2-3 tinkering is good practice. Now in terms of congestion, the smaller it would be better.
Re: Samsung SyncMaster U70 USB Sub-Monitor
But what interest? with increasing screen sizes? Anyone who really wants to keep an eye on msn when he plays to counter:
- Lose part two
- May very well play in window mode and still lose
I tested on a samsung 22 ", it was provided with, and ben is a waste of time is too small, plus the application that runs is not super stable, it is better to put a 15 or 17" en +, which is not more expensive (and mac and linux compatible)
Re: Samsung SyncMaster U70 USB Sub-Monitor
Maybe it is just a market test to see if people, despite the defects of the product would be ready to buy a small secondary screen. It is true that I would licensee personally, I find it convenient to have a physical demarcation of work areas. Anyway, should the screen be of a size slightly larger (12 "for example) and have at least 1024 * 768 .The ideal is to have small screens complementary screens "wide". For example, I have a 22 "displaying 1680 * 1050 should be a small screen showing the additional 768 * 1050 ...
Of course, with a design close to my current screen!
Re: Samsung SyncMaster U70 USB Sub-Monitor
First they sell their dung 7 inches before leaving something a little more usable, but not perfect, it will sell a maximum before leaving something a little more usable, but not perfect, it will sell the max before ... etc.. As for me I asked two direct SyncMaster 226BW Dual on the desktop, so I'm quiet ... Even if a third smaller branch me, but not 7 in 1 USB 100 € only ... will have to wait another generation or two of these widgets.
Re: Samsung SyncMaster U70 USB Sub-Monitor
Too expensive ... Frankly, if I want a second screen, I simply take a 17 or 19 inches. It costs the same price, the surface is more important, and I can have, for example, my doc on Wikipedia on the auxiliary display and the text of my new on the main screen. Here, 7 inches, is ridiculous. Especially for 100 € and Win only. 15 inches and DVI / VGA mini, if not forget.
