Audio - Sound Effects Problem (how to speed up Audio (voice))?
I am running Windows Vista and am using Windows Media player and Windows Movie Maker 6 version. I want to change the playing speed of a short audio clip which is in .wma to simulate the sound. It looks to be a basic type of sound effect. But I am not able to do this or find a way to accomplish with this new operating system. Also, I want to change the Bass and Treble for same effect. So can anyone tell me how to do this? Thanks.

Can you try to check effects list, there you might be able to "Speed Up Double". After that drag the effect and drop it on the clip and you can add upto 6 instances of an effect.

Thanks for the reply, I tried to do it but the Effects, double speed, looks only to speed up the Video portion of the frame. The sound or voice looks to remain the same way. Is there any other way? Thanks.

I think that it will definitely speed up the audio, is it possible that you imported a different audio file and added it to the Audio/Music Track? If so, then drop the effect on that track and see if that works.
