Ram doesnot Detect correct Speed

My motherboard model is Asrock penryn1600SLI-110db
I bought 8GB DDR2 6400 800MHz Ram
The motherboard supports 1066 Ram
But the problem is it only auto detects 533
I can manually set it to 800
But I don't think something is right if auto detect doesn't detect the correct speed.
I am using Kingston Hyper-X memory.
I also tried 4GB of Mushkin DDR2 800Mhz Ram.
It also auto detected at only 433 Mhz ram
Anybody know what might be the problem.
I also flash the BIOS to the latest version already.
please provide me some suggetsions

As per my knowledge, this things get generated when you do any unwanted changes int Bios settings and you forget.

Set memory timing from 'Auto' to either 'Performance' or 'Optimal' either from both any one option can do.
and then restart and enter into bios mode and check......
the correct speed will be displayed to you.....

hi there for a user like me it's not easy to go somewhere in bios and find the speed ; thus i was suggested with a software which helps you to detect your ram speed without any technicalities and going here and there.........

The RAM sometimes is not completely compatible with the motherboard. Yes, only one side can be used by the motherboard and thus a half hearted performance by ram. If you search around on the internet you will probably find an explanation. RAM manufacturers actually poll users for the way their products work on different motherboards.

In the BIOS settings under Advanced Chipset Features, check the setting Top Performance. Among other things, it may control the FSB and I would guess Disabled runs the FSB at 100Mhz , Enabled sets it as 133Mhz. If you find instability set it back.
